Three Emirati officers were killed and others injured, including a Yemeni citizen, in a "horrific" car accident in the Habban district of Shabwah governorate (eastern Yemen) on Thursday, June 13th, 2024.

Local sources told "Barran Press" that the car carrying the Emirati officers collided with a military vehicle accompanying them between the "Bihran and Hinoun" areas in the "Khalf" district, which falls under the Habban directorate.

The sources explained that the accident resulted in the deaths of three Emirati officers and injuries to others, including a motorcycle driver who happened to be passing by at the time of the incident.

They indicated that the accident occurred while the officers were returning to the Emirati forces' headquarters in the Balhaf area, after a falcon hunting trip in Wadi Habban.
