Marib Governorate's Deputy Governor, Abd Rabbuh Muftah, inaugurated the Saba Region University Student Housing in Marib City on Saturday, July 6, 2024. The housing facility can accommodate 150 students from rural areas and neighboring governorates.

According to the official website of Marib Governorate, Muftah emphasized the importance of such vital housing projects that target university students, aiming to provide them with accommodation and a conducive environment to support their pursuit of higher education.

He stressed the need to "double efforts and utilize all available resources to develop and expand the housing facility to accommodate the maximum number of university students in the coming phase."

The Housing Director, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Wadai, explained that the facility consists of 36 rooms equipped to accommodate 150 students from rural areas and neighboring governorates. It is the first university housing facility in Marib Governorate, and its services include "accommodation and meals."
