A young man has tragically passed away, while his brother was rescued, after they suffocated inside a liquefied gas tanker in Marib Governorate, eastern Yemen.

Local sources said to Barran Press that "Mansour Salem Al-Abidi" died Wednesday after suffocating inside a tanker owned by his family, which was used for transporting gas.

Sources explained that the young man was working with his brother to clean and maintain the inside of the tanker to resume its gas transportation operations. However, due to a lack of oxygen and rising temperatures, he tragically died inside the tank.

Locals managed to pull him out along with his brother, who was still alive but in critical condition. The surviving brother is currently receiving medical attention at a local hospital.
