The General Directorate of Moral Guidance and Relations of the Ministry of Interior in liberated governorates held the third day of its security awareness program on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, delivering awareness lectures to members of the Facilities Police and Personal Protection Unit in Marib governorate, northeast Yemen.
Three awareness and guidance lectures were delivered to Facilities Police personnel on Tuesday, aiming to enhance legal and field security awareness and boost morale among security personnel.
The first lecture focused on the importance of security personnel's interactions with citizens and their surrounding community, outlining the legal and procedural parameters of these interactions during daily dealings. It emphasized the role of security personnel as key figures in building trust and ensuring proper security operations.
The second lecture addressed preparedness and readiness in training, intellectual, legal, and moral aspects, highlighting their role in strengthening capabilities, achieving tasks, and fostering conviction to counter any potential actions by the Houthi group, internationally designated as a terrorist organization.
The third lecture tackled rumors and how to combat them, preventing the erosion of morale and undermining security and stability in liberated governorates, particularly in Marib.
Colonel Mohammed Al-Qara, Deputy Director of the Facilities Police in Marib, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of media and moral guidance in the battle to restore the state and rebuild its institutions, considering it a crucial front in confronting the Houthi group. The event also featured several artistic and performance segments.
