The Houthis, internationally designated as a terrorist group, launched a heavy artillery barrage on Wednesday evening, July 31, 2024, targeting populated areas in the Harib district of Marib Governorate (northeastern Yemen).
A Bran Press correspondent reported that the Houthis, from their positions in the mountainous areas between Hareeb and Jubbah districts in southern Marib, shelled residential areas in the "Al-Madarin" region west of Hareeb, causing power outages to homes in the western part of the district.
The correspondent explained that several mortar shells landed among residential houses in the "Al-Dhra'a" village in Al-Madarin, west of Hareeb, causing material damage to homes and power lines leading to the village.
