Pavel Durov, the founder of the popular messaging app Telegram, was arrested by French authorities at Paris-Le Bourget Airport on Saturday, August 24th, according to international media reports.

French television channel TF1 reported that Durov, the CEO and founder of Telegram, was apprehended while arriving on his private jet. The channel stated that Durov was the subject of an arrest warrant issued in France, as reported by Reuters.
