On Monday, August 26, 2024, tribal sources reported that the "Qaifa" tribes had gathered in the city of Radaa, Bayda Governorate (central Yemen), demanding that the Houthi group, internationally designated as a terrorist organization, surrender one of their supervisors accused of "raping a child" who was held captive in their prisons.

Sources told "Barran Press" that armed crowds from the "Qaifa and Al-Abu Saleh tribes" are demanding the Houthi group swiftly hand over one of their supervisors in Bayda Governorate, along with several other elements accused of "raping a child" who was imprisoned in the central prison in Radaa.

The sources clarified that "the primary suspect in the child rape crime is a Houthi supervisor named Abdulkarim Ahmed Saleh Al-Amrani." "Barran Press" also obtained a video showing a portion of the Qaifa and Al-Abu Saleh tribes gathering in Radaa, demanding the immediate surrender of the child's rapists.
