The 7th Military Region of the Yemeni Army celebrated the graduation of the fourth commando batch, named after the martyr "Rabeesh Al-Ali'i," on Sunday, September 8th, 2024. The ceremony was attended by Chief of Staff General "Saghir bin Aziz."
In his address, General "Bin Aziz" congratulated the graduates, coinciding with the Yemeni Revolution anniversaries, praising the high level of combat skills and expertise acquired by the trainees. He emphasized the importance of training and qualification in strengthening the armed forces and achieving the second objective of the glorious September 26th Revolution.
"Bin Aziz" stated that the armed forces are now stronger and more resilient in confronting the Houthi terrorist militias and their destructive project backed by the Iranian regime.
The batch was named after Sheikh "RabeeshAl-Ali'i" in honor of his heroism, achievements, and sacrifices in confronting the Houthi terrorist project, and as a tribute to the community's efforts in supporting the armed forces in the sacred national battle.
Colonel "Mohammed Al-Ba'wa," Chief of Staff of the 72nd Infantry Brigade, explained that this batch is part of the brigade's training and qualification plan, aligning with the requirements of the national battle.
During the ceremony, the fourth commando batch showcased their physical fitness and advanced combat skills through a military parade and a tactical combat scenario.
At the end of the ceremony, the top performers from the batch were honored. The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Training Authority, Major General "Ahmed Al-'Absi," Commander of the 7th Military Region, Major General "Mohammed Al-Muntasir," and several leaders from the Ministry of Defense.
