The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning announced on Thursday, October 3, 2024, that scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected to occur in several regions across 14 Yemeni provinces in the coming hours.

In its daily bulletin, which was reviewed by "Barran Press," the center indicated that rainfall, accompanied by thunder and occasional hail, is anticipated in parts of the provinces of Abyan, Lahij, Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhale, and Raymah, extending westward to the Tihamah plain.

The center also noted the possibility of scattered rain in parts of the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Aden, Al-Bayda, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Al-Mahrah.

The report highlighted that rainfall measurements from the past 24 hours at various monitoring stations were as follows: Taiz received 18.5 mm, while Ibb recorded 0.2 mm. Additionally, scattered rainfall outside the monitoring stations was reported in parts of the mountainous regions, southern coastlines, and the Tihamah plain.
