A large public rally took place in Marib, northeastern Yemen, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to denounce the ongoing “genocide” being perpetrated by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
The march, which traversed the streets of Marib, saw demonstrators carrying banners condemning the continuous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people. Participants chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian cause and celebrated the bravery of the resistance while waving national flags and the Palestinian flag.
Protesters expressed outrage at the silence of Arab leaders and the Western support for these atrocities, which they claim have persisted for a year. They praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and their courageous resistance.
The rally called on Arab nations and freedom-loving individuals worldwide to support the Palestinian people both materially and morally, urging them to hold demonstrations that pressure governments backing Israel to halt the brutal war and massacres.
This event is part of a series of activities organized by committees in Marib to commemorate the first anniversary of the war against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Since October 2023, the city of Marib has witnessed consecutive protests denouncing the Israeli assault on Gaza, showing solidarity with the Palestinian populace and support for their steadfastness against Israeli aggression.
