The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has issued a warning about potential sea turbulence along the coasts of Socotra and eastern provinces in Yemen. The center forecasts varying degrees of rainfall across 20 provinces in the coming hours.

In its daily bulletin, reviewed by "Barran Press," the meteorological center indicated a likelihood of thunderstorms with varying intensity in parts of the Tihama plain and provinces including Hajja, Al Hudaydah, Al Mahwit, Saada, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Lahij, Al Dhale'e, Abyan, and the Socotra Archipelago.

Additionally, scattered rainfall is expected in parts of Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Al Bayda, Marib, Al Jawf, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, and Aden. The center cautioned about rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago and the eastern territorial waters of Yemen.

Officials advised against venturing into riverbeds and flood channels, as well as crossing low-lying bridges. Drivers have been warned about reduced visibility on roads and mountainous slopes due to rain and fog formation. Fishermen and ship captains are also urged to exercise caution due to the anticipated rough sea conditions.
