On Monday, October 21, 2024, a workshop was held in Marib province focused on mechanisms to address tribal disputes, reduce armed conflicts, and protect both public and private interests in the region.

Participants at the workshop reviewed the challenges and difficulties that threaten social cohesion and undermine community peace. They explored potential solutions and emphasized the importance of enhancing community awareness to address the various issues and disputes among the province's residents, according to the official Saba News Agency.

The attendees stressed the need for clear visions and structured action plans to activate community roles, involving all sectors in addressing these critical issues and supporting the efforts of security agencies and governmental bodies to maintain security and stability.

Officials from the Ministry of Interior, including Major General Muhammad Bin Aboud, Local Administration Deputy Abdullah Al-Qubaisi, and Marib Governor Abdurrahman Muftah, highlighted the significance of discussing such vital issues, developing appropriate solutions, and fostering cooperation among state institutions and community groups for effective implementation.

They praised the workshop's efforts in promoting positive awareness around various community issues, particularly tribal disputes, as well as combating drug-related problems and other critical matters requiring community collaboration for resolution.
