Marib Deputy Governor Abd Rabbu Miftah  emphasized the critical need for NGOs to master strategic planning and project development aligned with actual community needs. Muftah made these remarks at the opening of a ten-day training course for NGOs in strategic planning and project development, organized by the Marib Social Affairs and Labor Office.

The course aims to equip 40 NGO representatives with the skills and knowledge necessary for strategic planning and project development. This training is intended to enhance NGO effectiveness, enabling them to participate in development plans and partner with international organizations on humanitarian projects.

Marib's Director General of Social Affairs and Labor, Abdulhakim Al-Qaysi, highlighted the importance of preparing NGO staff to develop plans addressing the needs of displaced persons and host communities. The goal, he stated, is to empower vulnerable families to become self-sufficient.
