On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, the National Meteorological Center and Early Warning announced that seven Yemeni provinces are expected to experience relatively cold weather during the late night and early morning hours.
In its daily bulletin, which was reviewed by "Barran Press," the center stated that the provinces of Al-Bayda, parts of Ibb and Al-Dhale, Dhammar, Sana'a, Amran, and Saada will see chilly conditions in the coming hours.
According to the center, Dhammar recorded the lowest temperature today at 9 degrees Celsius, followed by Sana'a, Saada, Ibb, and Al-Bayda at 11 degrees, and Al-Mahwit at 12 degrees.
The center warned citizens, particularly the elderly, children, patients, and those working during the late night and early morning hours, as well as travelers to the aforementioned provinces, to take necessary precautions against the relatively cold weather.
Additionally, the center forecast scattered rain accompanied by occasional thunderstorms in parts of the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Al-Mahwit, and Hajjah, as well as in the western areas of Dhammar, Sana'a, Amran, and Saada, and the highlands of Tihama.
In coastal areas, partly cloudy weather with scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected over the Tihama plain and the western coasts, with moderate to active winds reaching speeds of up to 28 knots in the southern parts of the western coastline and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
