Osaylan, Yemen – Local authorities in Osaylan district of Shabwa province announced on Saturday, November 30, 2024, that the Jannah Hunt oil company has earmarked half a billion Yemeni riyals to enhance services in electricity, health, and education within the district.

A local source informed Barran Press that the local government has approved plans to utilize the allocated funds to support Aysilan Hospital and improve educational facilities and schools in the area. Additionally, the funding will facilitate the completion of the pumping and reduction stations for the Al-Dhaba gas power plant.

Last week, the recognized Yemeni government reappointed the American company Jannah Hunt to operate the fifth oil sector in Aysilan, replacing the national company Petro Masila. Petro Masila had previously managed the sector but withdrew from its responsibilities on November 1, 2024, after overseeing operations since early 2022.
