On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Abdu Rabbu Miftah, the Deputy Governor of Marib in northeastern Yemen, commended training activities aimed at empowering women and enhancing their capacities to play a significant role in community development.
His remarks came during the opening of a workshop designed to train 25 participants from the Women and Child Departments in the province's executive offices. The workshop, organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in collaboration with the Humanitarian Access Association for Partnership and Development, will run for three days, as reported by the official Saba News Agency.
Abdul Hakim Qaisi, the Director of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, emphasized the office's commitment to developing the skills of female personnel working in government departments as a crucial step toward achieving comprehensive and sustainable development in the community.
Meanwhile, Nabil Lutfi, the Director of the Humanitarian Access Coordination Office, noted that the workshop aligns with the association's efforts to support women's empowerment and ensure the sustainability of various projects. He highlighted the importance of strengthening women's resilience in the face of crises and contributing to economic recovery in the community.
