On December 21, 2024, the Yemeni Students Union in Malaysia held a vibrant ceremony to honor 114 graduates, dubbed the "Dreamers" class, from Malaysian universities at various levels including bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.
Yemen's ambassador to Malaysia, Adil Mohammed Bahamid, praised the graduates, stating that their achievements are foundational to building a strong Yemen and reaffirmed his robust support for Yemeni students abroad.
In his address, Abdulrahman Al-Noor, president of the Yemeni Students Union in Malaysia, expressed pride in the graduates’ accomplishments, emphasizing that this class symbolizes hope and ambition for their homeland.
Graduate representative Yasser Al-Matari also spoke, extending gratitude to everyone who supported them during their educational journey.
The event featured special artistic performances by Yemeni artist Amin Hamim, who delighted attendees with a series of lively acts, adding a festive flair to the celebration of Yemeni culture.
The ceremony attracted over 1,300 attendees, including notable figures such as Dr. Fouad Hael Said Anam, cultural advisor Dr. Ahmed Khodami, General Taha Hajar, representatives from Malaysian universities, and other public personalities.
