In a proactive move, the Houthi group, which is internationally designated as a terrorist organization, has ordered all public and private hospitals in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a to elevate their readiness levels. This directive comes in response to escalating Israeli threats to broaden their military targets against the group.

According to an internal memo obtained by "Barran Press," the Houthi health office in Sana'a instructed hospitals to enhance their preparedness across all departments. The order includes ensuring that blood banks and ambulance services are fully operational in anticipation of any emergencies.

The Houthi directive follows increased tensions as they have ramped up their rhetoric against Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned of potential new attacks on Houthi positions, stating that recent operations are just the beginning of a broader campaign.

On the evening of December 23, Netanyahu emphasized to the Knesset that Israel's military actions against the Houthis "are not the first and will not be the last." He stated, "I have instructed our armed forces to destroy Houthi infrastructure, and we will strike with full force against anyone who seeks to harm us. We will continue to crush the forces of evil with strength and skill, no matter how long it takes."
