The Yemeni Army announced on Monday that its forces successfully intercepted and shot down a reconnaissance drone operated by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in northwestern Taiz, southwestern Yemen. According to the Taiz Military Axis, the drone was brought down while flying over army positions.
The Houthis have recently intensified their attacks in Taiz, targeting army sites with drones, mortars, and infiltration attempts.
