Authorities in Aden have buried 65 unidentified bodies due to overcrowding at a local hospital, exacerbated by frequent power outages, according to judicial sources cited by the Yemeni News Agency, Saba, on February 11.
The burials, conducted in two phases at Abu Harbah Cemetery, were carried out with the cooperation of the ICRC and under the directives of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice. The National Forensic Medicine Center documented the bodies and ensured international standards were followed, maintaining detailed records for possible future identification.
