Two children were injured, one critically, on Thursday, after a projectile—a remnant of war—exploded in Al-Manin area south of Marib city.

Local sources in northeastern Yemen told "Baran Press" that 8-year-old Yahya Maqbool Murshid Al-Bukhaikh sustained severe injuries, while another child, Abu Bakr Farhan, suffered minor injuries in the explosion.

The incident occurred as a group of children were playing in the area. Sources indicate that one child was tampering with a suspicious object, believed to be anexploded projectile, which then detonated, injuring the two boys.
