Sudanese Army Retakes Key Sites in Khartoum

The Sudanese army announced on Saturday the recapture of strategic locations in Khartoum, including the Central Bank and General Intelligence Headquarters. Military sources told Anadolu Agency that the army also regained control of the Tuti Bridge's northern entrance and prominent sites like Al-Fateh Tower.
On Friday, the army reclaimed the presidential palace from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), along with key ministries in central Khartoum. Army spokesperson Nabil Abdullah confirmed significant advances, emphasizing "decisive blows" to RSF forces, including the destruction of their equipment and seizure of weapons.
The conflict, ongoing since April 2023, has caused thousands of deaths and displaced million people.
