A Yemeni army officer, his son, and one of his aides were killed on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in a clash with an armed gang that ambushed them on the international road in the Al-Abr district of Hadhramaut Governorate (eastern Yemen).

Military sources told "Barran Press" that the gang intercepted the path of Colonel "Hafiz Naji Muthar Al-Sayyadi," a leader of the "Road Security Forces" units in Ma'rib and Hadhramaut, and engaged in a firefight with him on the international road in Al-Abr, west of Hadhramaut.

The sources indicated that the clashes resulted in the deaths of Colonel "Hafiz Naji Muthar Al-Sayyadi," his son "Basil," and his aide, First Lieutenant "Yahya Al-Naqizi." Two other aides
