Marib, Yemen - The administration of Marib General Hospital, in collaboration with the Medical Services Department of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, organized a four-day training course on Monday, September 2, 2024, to equip hospital staff with the skills needed to respond to crises and natural disasters.
The training, which aims to equip 31 medical and administrative staff members with theoretical knowledge and practical applications, will focus on disaster management principles, techniques for handling natural disasters, and ensuring the continuity of healthcare services during challenging and exceptional circumstances.
Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Shaddai, Head of Marib Hospital, emphasized the importance of such specialized and high-quality training programs to prepare and train hospital staff, enabling them to adapt to various situations and overcome challenges, including natural disasters.
