Yemen's Prime Minister, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, met with Qatar's Minister of Finance, Ali al-Kuwari, on Wednesday, September 10, 2024, to discuss the implementation of agreed-upon understandings for providing support to Yemen. The focus was on priority sectors, including the electricity sector and the resumption of development fund activities in Yemen.

The meeting took place in Doha, Qatar, where bin Mubarak is currently on an official visit. He expressed gratitude for Qatar's "brotherly" stance in supporting the Yemeni people and its understanding of the difficulties Yemen faces under current exceptional circumstances.

Al-Kuwari, in turn, emphasized Qatar's commitment to cooperating with Yemen to overcome its current crisis.

Bin Mubarak arrived in Doha on Sunday, September 8, for talks with Qatari officials on strengthening and developing bilateral relations in various fields. The discussions also addressed national developments and regional and international efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen.
