The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted variable thunderstorms over the next 24 hours in several regions, including Al-Mahra and Hadhramaut, as well as ten other provinces in eastern Yemen.
In its daily bulletin seen By Barran Press, the center indicated that the mountainous areas would experience generally clear to partly cloudy weather, with scattered rain and occasional thunderstorms expected in parts of the provinces of Lahij, Taiz, Al-Dhale, and Ibb. Additionally, light rain is anticipated in areas of Rima, Al-Mahwit, Hajjah, and western Saada.
The forecast for coastal regions predicts partly to mostly cloudy conditions, with scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms at times along the eastern coasts and adjacent inland areas, as well as parts of the Tihama plain. Winds are expected to be moderate to active around the Socotra archipelago while remaining light to moderate elsewhere along the coasts.
Moreover, the National Center for Meteorology noted that desert areas would likely see partly to mostly cloudy weather, with varying degrees of scattered rain in the deserts of Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra, along with moderate winds that may raise dust and reduce visibility.
