The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted that three Yemeni provinces will be affected by residual rainfall from a low-pressure system over the next 24 hours. Additionally, scattered thunderstorms are expected across ten other provinces.

In its daily report seen by Barran Press, the center indicated that remnants of the dissipating low-pressure system in the Arabian Sea will maintain atmospheric instability, leading to varying intensities of thunderstorms in the valleys, highlands, and coastal areas of Al-Mahrah, Hadramout, and Shabwa, as well as eastern Aden Gulf. Strong downdrafts could cause rough sea conditions and elevated waves along the eastern coasts and Aden Gulf.

The center anticipates relatively clear and cooler weather in the mountainous regions during the night and early morning, with a shift to partly cloudy conditions during the day. Scattered thunderstorms may occur in parts of Lahij, Taiz, Ibb, and the highlands of Al-Mahrah, Hadramout, and Shabwa, along with intermittent rain in areas of Al-Dhale, Raymah, Al-Mahwit, western Dhamar, Hajjah, and the Tihama highlands.

Coastal areas are expected to experience partly cloudy weather with scattered rain in parts of the eastern coasts, Socotra Archipelago, and Tihama plains, with moderate winds occasionally becoming stronger along the eastern coasts and Socotra.

The National Center for Meteorology urged residents in rain-affected areas to avoid riverbeds and flood routes during and after rainfall. Citizens are also advised to take shelter from thunderstorms. Fishermen and those venturing into the sea have been warned of adverse weather conditions and rough seas along the eastern coasts and eastern Aden Gulf.
