The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has predicted cold to severely cold weather during the late night and early morning hours across four provinces and the highlands of two additional provinces. Meanwhile, colder conditions are expected in the highlands of four other provinces.
According to the center's daily bulletin, which was reviewed by "Bran Press," the provinces expected to experience cold to extremely cold weather include Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, and Al-Bayda, as well as the western highlands of Saada and Al-Jawf, where temperatures are anticipated to range between 2 and 5 degrees Celsius.
The highlands of Ibb, Al-Dhale'e, Lahij, and Abyan are forecasted to have minimum temperatures between 6 and 9 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the formation of low cloud patches is expected over parts of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Ibb, Raymah, and Taiz during the afternoon.
The center has advised residents in the affected areas to take necessary precautions against the cold weather, especially for children, the elderly, and workers during the night and early morning hours.
Farmers have also been warned to take measures to protect their crops, and beekeepers and livestock herders are advised to shelter their bees and animals in warm places.
