Yemeni forces successfully repelled an attack by Iran-backed Houthi militants on military positions in southern Marib on Wednesday. Yemeni artillery targeted and destroyed Houthi gatherings and equipment along the Al-Balq and Al-‘Akd fronts, forcing them to retreat. Similar infiltration attempts were also thwarted in the Al-Jawf and Taiz governorates, according to military sources.
The Yemeni government condemned the Houthis' continued military escalation, warning that such actions undermine ongoing peace efforts and exacerbate the country's humanitarian crisis.
