On Monday, Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak called on governors of provinces under Iran-backed Houthi control to "raise readiness and prepare for all options" to end the suffering of citizens caused by the Houthis' coup. During phone calls with the governors of Sanaa, Saada, Hajjah, Ibb, and Dhamar, Bin Mubarak exchanged Ramadan greetings while underscoring the need for unified efforts to alleviate hardships across Yemen.

According to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s support for these governors, emphasizing that restoring state authority and ending the coup are essential to relieving citizens’ plight. He praised the resilience of people in Houthi-controlled areas for enduring the group’s violations and rejecting its clerical, sectarian agenda.

Bin Mubarak was also briefed on strategies to provide legal protections and document Houthi abuses, with the goal of strengthening a coordinated response to the Iranian-backed group’s oppressive rule.
