Local authorities in Marib Governorate, northeastern Yemen, launched the distribution of 6,500 food baskets to the most vulnerable displaced families on Wednesday. This initiative, supported by Saudi Arabia, aims to provide essential relief amid Yemen's ongoing humanitarian crisis, according to Yemen's official news agency, Saba.
Undersecretary of Marib governorate Abdulrab Al-Miftah and Saif Muthanna, Executive Director of the Displacement Camp Management Unit, praised Saudi Arabia's generous aid and its impactful role in alleviating the suffering of displaced families affected by the actions of the Iran-backed Houthis. They highlighted Saudi interventions in both emergency relief and sustainable development projects.
