As the fourth day of hostilities unfolded, the Israeli Air Force targeted the building housing the official Iranian news channel "Iran News" studios while a program was being broadcast live. This occurred shortly after the Israeli military ordered the evacuation of Zone 3 in the capital, Tehran. The targeting followed a statement from Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, who declared that the "Iranian media channel, which promotes propaganda and incitement, is on its way to disappearing," and that "evacuation of neighboring residents has begun."
In a subsequent statement, the Israeli military announced it had issued a warning to residents of Zone 3 in Tehran in Farsi, urging civilians to evacuate immediately, noting that Israeli civilians do not receive similar warnings before seeking shelter.

Amidst the military escalation, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported that Iran's air defense system shot down a sophisticated Israeli MO9 drone in the "Ain al-Sula" area of Dasht-e Abbas district in the border city of Dehloran.
While Reuters reported that thousands of Tehran residents have fled their homes fearing an escalation of Israeli air raids in the coming days, Iranian media reported that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard called on Tel Aviv residents to evacuate as soon as possible.
