The military confrontation between Israel and Iran intensified for a fourth consecutive day on Monday marked by a significant escalation in mutual strikes and heightened warnings of a wider conflict.

Israel launched aerial assaults targeting military sites and vital infrastructure within Iranian territory. Tehran retaliated by firing hundreds of ballistic missiles deep into Israel, resulting in the deaths of three individuals in Petah Tikva and a fourth in Bnei Brak.

Monday's strikes primarily focused on critical infrastructure in both nations. Iran declared its response "knows no bounds," asserting that Israel had "crossed all red lines." Tehran further vowed "more destructive" missile strikes against strategic targets in Israel. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reiterated that his country does not seek to develop nuclear weapons but maintains its right to peaceful and research-oriented nuclear energy.

In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking from Tel Nof Airbase, stated that the "Israeli Air Force controls Tehran's skies" and that the airstrikes target "Iranian regime sites" in contrast to what he described as "deliberate Iranian targeting of civilians."
As the fourth day of hostilities unfolded, the Israeli Air Force targeted the building housing the official Iranian news channel "Iran News" studios while a program was being broadcast live. This occurred shortly after the Israeli military ordered the evacuation of Zone 3 in the capital, Tehran. The targeting followed a statement from Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, who declared that the "Iranian media channel, which promotes propaganda and incitement, is on its way to disappearing," and that "evacuation of neighboring residents has begun."
In a subsequent statement, the Israeli military announced it had issued a warning to residents of Zone 3 in Tehran in Farsi, urging civilians to evacuate immediately, noting that Israeli civilians do not receive similar warnings before seeking shelter.

Amidst the military escalation, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported that Iran's air defense system shot down a sophisticated Israeli MO9 drone in the "Ain al-Sula" area of Dasht-e Abbas district in the border city of Dehloran.
While Reuters reported that thousands of Tehran residents have fled their homes fearing an escalation of Israeli air raids in the coming days, Iranian media reported that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard called on Tel Aviv residents to evacuate as soon as possible.

In a notable development, the US Ambassador in Tel Aviv confirmed that the embassy branch sustained "minor damage" due to an Iranian missile explosion near the building's perimeter.
For its part, the Israeli army announced it had destroyed a third of Iran's missile launch platforms in an attempt to undermine Tehran's retaliatory capabilities.

Amidst this escalation, Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz stated that "Tehran residents will pay the price" if the aggressions continue. Meanwhile, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Pezeshkian called for "internal unity and national cohesion" to confront the threats.

Early on Friday, June 13, Israeli military forces announced a "preemptive" military strike, named "Rising Lion," targeting sites in Iran, which resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists. In response to these strikes, Iranian forces launched a series of attacks on Friday evening with over 200 aerial missiles targeting various areas in Tel Aviv, killing three Israelis and injuring over 63 others, according to Israeli ambulance services.
